Gabbi is Kin + Clay’s Potter, and her wife, Ash, helps with design ideas and community outreach. They live in Fresno, Ca and are parents to an incredible 7 year old kid, 2 German Shepherds, and a kitty named pumpKIN pie.

Gabbi’s dad was a master potter for over 50 years and raised a family of 10 kids as a full time ceramicist in Hurricane, Utah (in a small town at the base of Zion). Gabbi (youngest of the 10 kids) inherited her dad’s wheel after he passed away in 2021 and she hasn’t stopped making pottery since. It is now something she gets to share with her kid and it is the best way to continue to honor and connect with her dad. It has brought their family together in special ways and it has connected them to community more than they could’ve ever imagined.

To them, “KIN” means family in all aspects- through blood or through love.

Kin + Clay’s mission is to make pottery more accessible to reach as many homes as possible and bring a little more beauty, simplicity, art, and joy to as many families as they can. Little by little.

We love to bring the magic of clay to others and host events from time to time. Purchasing our pottery supports our dream to have a pottery studio on wheels (a converted camper trailer) to expand Kin + Clay and travel to as many national parks as possible.

Kin + Clay is a small batch pottery business. We offer shipping and local pick-up options. We also welcome wholesale and custom orders.
